Building bold, intelligent visual storytelling for brands. Turning complex technical subject matter into clear, compelling narratives.
I'm Bryce Bobula, a motion designer and creative lead focused on building bold, intelligent visual storytelling for B2B brands. For more than a decade, I've worked across motion, video, 2D and 3D design to turn complex technical subject matter into clear, compelling narratives that connect with real audiences.
At Komatsu, I lead creative development of multimedia content supporting global campaigns and industry events including CES, MineExpo, Bauma, and CONEXPO. My role blends hands-on craft with big-picture thinking, shaping everything from early concept development to final animation, VFX, and sound design. I'm especially drawn to work that demands clarity—distilling engineering-heavy or highly technical ideas into visuals that feel dynamic, human, and memorable.
Throughout my career, including collaborations through Aquent Studios supporting brands like Kohl's and Rockwell Automation, I've owned projects from concept to delivery. I've developed campaign visuals, brand films, product animations, and experiential content designed to perform across web, social, retail, and live environments. Whether working independently or guiding a team, I care deeply about pacing, composition, typography, and small design decisions that elevate good work into great work.
I'm equally passionate about building creative systems that make strong work repeatable. From refining visual standards to implementing AI-assisted production tools, I look for ways to protect craft while increasing scale and efficiency.
At the end of the day, I'm motivated by the same thing that got me started in motion design: the satisfaction of seeing ideas move, evolve, and resonate. I believe thoughtful design and disciplined storytelling can make even the most technical subject feel engaging—and that's the kind of work I strive to create.
